A. What is this Mobile Money Service Bede about?
Is a service in which a client is able to transfer funds from the Mobile top-up, pay bills, Cashin & out, Merchant payment, mobile wallet to mobile wallet, Bank to a Mobile wallet & vice versa and other service providers’ payments such as Taxi trips, NEC, and Governmental payments.
B. What are the available interfaces?
Bede is available in Two interface Mobile App and USSD
C. What are the available Services?
Top-up & bill payment, Merchant payment, Wallet to wallet, Wallet to bank, Pay bills, Cash In & Cash Out
D. How do I activate the service?
Smartphone; Download the Bede App from google play or App store then subscribe by entering your phone no. after that you will receive SMS with OTP for activation
USSD; simple by pressing *800# then choose registration, enter your phone no., you will receive OTP in SMS, then enter the OTP in the USSD registration screen and you are ready to go.
E. Can I transfer to another provider’s wallet?
No, currently you can’t transfer to another mobile money provider.
F. What happens if I send money to a non-registered phone no. ?
The transaction amount will simply be returned to your wallet or message of phone no. isn’t available will appear
G. Can I send money to a non-registered no. or receiver without any mobile wallet or a bank account?
Yes, a Voucher transaction will let you transfer money to anyone who hasn’t any mobile money or banking account by generating a unique code that will let the receiver to collect it from the nearest Bede service provider
H. What are the charges for this service?
For subscription, there is no fees to be deducted but there is a charging fee for any kind of Bede service Pls call us at 800 or 123 for more details
I. What is the minimum and maximum amount of wallet-to-wallet and wallet to bank transaction?
